Unborn Twins Interact in the Womb at 14 weeks Into Pregnancy

As a twin mom… I can say this makes perfect sense. My babies seemed to move in tandem all the time. I knew who was who by their types of movements and could have it confirmed on ultrasound. Interestingly, the usually managed to sit in a certain position with regularity, and they would manage to do the same thing in their cribs… They absolutely snuggled in NICU… having a calming effect on each other…
 
That’s so touching. And I’ve heard of people who went through life feeling some sense of loss they couldn’t define and they later learned they were a twin but the twin miscarried or was stillborn and the survivor just wasn’t told.

My own grandmother was a twin and the other didn’t survive. Unfortunately, that grandma herself died before my parents met, so I never met her. I wonder if she felt the loss of her sibling.

I just believe that when God creates a soul, even those who aren’t long on Earth, that soul has more influence than we realize. I don’t mean this in any weird New Agey way, either - I mean it in the context of the Communion of Saints.

The evidence for prenatal humanity is impossible to ignore. And these precious babies and their moms need love, protection and compassion.
 
I had a friend who was always feeling a sense of loss until she found out that she had a twin that was stillborn. She told me that a number of years ago (and she has since died, God bless her)…and it always amazed me. It makes sense though…

I do not know if she was a fraternal twin or identical. I assume being identical would be more traumatizing. But I do not know for sure.
 
Woulsdn’t it be wornderful if that Doctors work could be showcased in a documentary and shown on PBS for example? I have always seen things on PBS that are anti religious and very liberal minded, so I suppose it’s too much to hope for, but it sure would be a way to give a wake up call to quite a large audience, wouldn’t it?
