Hi all,
Thanks for taking the time to try and answer my questions. I have been working hard to get away from various sins, but an afraid I may have fell back into one again today.
Basically I called my girlfriend on a video call this morning and she had just gotten out of the shower. She said would be right back as she went to get changed and that she said sorry if you see anything. I said okay, and just sat there looking at my phone as she put hers down. She ran out of the bathroom to her room and I saw her butt and side of her breast. I didn’t look away for this brief time. She returned and was in underwear as she put her shirt and then pants on. I was getting very arroused from seeing her like that so I told her I had to use the restroom and shower for the day. My concern is that during this and while showering immediately after this I fondled myself. I personally would not call it masturbation, but it definitely felt pleasurable. I definitely realized it was wrong and stopped myself from going any further than this.
She is a secular Jew but is curious about Catholicism and wanting to learn so later today I did express to her that I wanted her to be more careful with what I could see - I hope this eliminates this situation I the future.
My question is whether or not I need to go to confession before receiving Eucharist next. I just went on Monday and had been doing well, I really don’t want to go unless necessary for a few reasons. Is the touching considered masturbation? Is the arousal from viewing her considered lust? What would you say during confession if this is mortal sin?
