Unchanging God question

Jesus human nature was created in time and, as such, because His human nature is now eternally attached to the divine nature of God seems to also have changed or added to the eternal composition of God. Before Jesus we had one divine nature and mind, now we have two natures (divine and human) and two minds (divine and human). So, did the composition of God change with Jesus? If so, is God still unchanging?

God is still unchanging. The human nature was “assumed not absorbed.” In other words, its more like God acted on what would become His human nature, not the other way around. Another way to look at it: God created the universe. Did He become the Creator of the universe? No. God is all Act. He has always from eternity been the creator of the universe he created in space-time. So God has from all eternity been uniting himself to His human nature in space-time.

No the universe did not become God. My point is God’s relationship to the universe (Creator to creation) is eternal. So the Word of God substantial uniting Himself to flesh has also been an eternal act. God didn’t change in doing it, because He always has been doing it.

The Second Person of the Trinity, who has the same nature as The Father and the Holy Spirit, assumed a human nature ( a human body and soul ). Thus we have Jesus Christ, One Person, the Second Person of the Trinity. The Second Person is united to God in His Divine Nature and at the same time is united to his human nature.

Its a difficult concept to grasp but it is similar to the way Christ is persent in every consecrated host throughout the world at the same moment. God can be everywhere at once. That is why in heaven we will be looking at Jesus the God-Man, and at the same time he is united with the Father and the Holy Spirit in the Divine Natue, which the three are. You just have to accept it, you cannot understand it, no one can.

I think you are struggling to separate Jesus’ human nature from his divine nature. Jesus is both fully human and fully divine. Christ’s divine nature has always existed, his human nature has not. His human nature doesn’t change what Christ is (God), it is only a different way of interacting with the world. Like God talking through the burning bush, except with a more important role in salvation.
