Uncle Milton's Live Ant Farm

We recently ordered an Uncle Milton’s Live Ant Farm for our kids. The ants are now being shipped and we can’t find the instructions on how to put it together when they get here. Does anyone have experience with one of these? I I’m just afraid of ending up with hundreds of our new little friends running around our house.:eek:

Move to Texas or anywhere in the south and you can have all the fireants you want! My kids absolutely hate ants, since fireants Bite!

Yea - My sister lives in NC and ended up in the hospital with a bad reaction after being bitten by those things. I’ll stay here in Iowa.
 
COOL!! My brother had an antfarm when we were kids.

I was thinking about getting one for my kids this year for Christmas but I’m going to get them a fish tank instead. I’m sure it will be a lot more work.

When we were kids, I used to shake the antfarm… :o

We grew up in Ohio, so these things were all new to us too… Most people dont have bad reactions, but the bites do swell, form a pustule and itch for a few days. One time my little girl got about 10 on her legs, not too nice for her for a couple days…
