Kathleen Gee & AlCrusader :clapping:👍👍👍

I have been enjoying your posts very much, thank you & please keep up the good work

I disagree with both of you here, I think we should work with the concept “forgive and forget”, else we will keep reminding each others with our mistakes throughout our lifetime.

Mark 11:25
“And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
I understand what you say Bro but the concept of not forgetting is not about continual reminder that is unforgiving.

If we remember we have experience to draw on not to fall into error.

If your brother gets you to stick your finger in a power point and you get a zap you will forgive him but not forget it.

If you ever go to stick your finger in a power socket you will remember and not do it, with no memory of the event there is no reason to give it a go.

Memory of experience good and bad shapes individuals, through history our ancestors lessons save us from mistakes.

In the bible the mistakes are recorded so we remember and dont fall as those before us did.

Bless ya

100% true.
God bless you

Thank you…

And the diagram is very clear there is only one object with 3 parts…why is that so difficult…why is it so difficult for Muslims to comprehend Christ’s mission???

In regards to reason, the Vatican has the greatest library in the world. Where is Islam’s? Where does one see Christians and Jews slaying the Muslims and taking over their sacred places?

Our faith is complete…we do not need to do such things…people are free…because God is so big. If people fail, they go to confession and are absolved…but in some places in Islam, people are already condemned, hands and legs cut off, adulterers buried and stoned to death…this is going back to very ancient times with no progress.

Finally, an Arab commentator said in the Middle East that most Muslims do not care about the mosque – being built in a commercial district, 13 stories with only 13 members by a leader who has ties to Hamas…and that if it goes up, with the devious name of Cordoba—the take over of the Cathedral and the replacement by a mosque.
the new mosque is simply a monument to terrorism and gives Islam another bad perception.

Christ does not teach us to do such things. The Muslims should ask the world for forgiveness of its sins against humanity, make true contrition, and join the global community as humane and equal partners.

And regarding the mosque, there is now the attitude that the mosque develop might refuse to meet with the governor of New York…and funding possibly coming from Iran and Saudi Arabia…

You should have seen it from my previous posts… but maybe ur not understanding what i mean…
“Forgive but Not Forget”…
I am not asking how or what the errors are in the Islamic religion.
What I am asking is what are the errors that you claim you made?

Because of the diorama, for Muslims G-d is always all seeing all knowing and never dependant on any one.

The diorama for example says Jesus (pbwh) is G-d but Jesus (pbwh) was not all seeing all knowing so the narrations of the bible say and the Quran. So he must be dependant on The Father, as the bible says your will not mine. In the diagram is the Father dependant on Jesus (pbwh), not according to the bible so i assume it to be the same in the diagram.

So from the diagram G-d is not all seeing and all knowing because Jesus (pbwh) was not but is G-d.

If the bit in them middle is G-d and others say they want to focus on the bit in the middle why is it needed to change them, your living witness is what will change people, well it has good influence to me at least.

This diagram even for me makes complex what the bible made simple, maybe thats why no one drew it or wrote it out as the drawing explains.

If the bible is by G-ds guidance of mans hand then surely it explains it much clearer than the diagram.

No offence to Br Alcrusader but the diagram you have made here can not out do or do better than the bible if it is G-ds word. If your diagram gets around give it a few decades and people who say they believe in Jesus (pbwh) will divide and say to each other “your not Christian I AM”.

Any way i have moved from answering Sisters question to a thing that is only a concern to men of this world and are no concern of mine but i love you and seek you not divide over things that dont bring actions of love but can create feelings of superiority. All who do good things in the way (name) of Yeshua (pbwh) are brothers.

G-d knows best and in heaven all is clear.

Bless you all

In your dreams…
“get behind me satan” i say to that thought of being defeated. My G-d is all knowing all seeing and can do ALL things and will do good things for those who see and have faith.

I would say she spoke to us in good faith and your words brother speak against it offering no goodness just defeat.

Even if you dont see as she sees you should have faith in Our Fathers goodness in her and encourage her to walk in it. You are one My Brother and she My Sister support each other with Our Fathers love.

Faith moves mountains into oceans, have faith in hopelessness and you will be hopeless, have faith in good things and good things will be seen.

The bible teaches having faith and living in hope.

Even the Buddhists understand faith does, how much more then should those walking in Yeshua (pbwh) hold of good faith.

Hi all

I’m looking for a book or two to help me understand true Islam. No, I’m not thinking of converting, I just hear so much contradictory info, I’d like to be able to sort it all out. I’d like a book from a Catholic or Christian perspective, one from a Muslim perspective, and maybe even one from a secular perspective. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Dave

Its the hard road but if you want to understand true Islam get the Quran and pray to G-d before reading it. Anything else is second hand and written with bias for or against.

That did not work for me. But i have learned many things including i dont think i am in a position to understand. Arabic scholars don’t fully understand, some Christians have said they do but i have found in the Quran what no man has yet said they understand fully.

Your G-d will help you look for truth and help you discern.

Bless ya on your brave quest.

the mistakes he is speaking of are the mistakes made by the leaders of his country, not necessarily him personally (alcrusader, please correct me if I am wrong) He has spoken of the trusting opening of their country to the Palestinian Arabs who took over. Since then the countries Christians have been under siege. He has been talking about us, generally, not making the mistakes that they (Lebanon) made in dealing with Islamists.

This is true sister…
Read history, see how Islam started, you gonna see that it’s always by the same way, and always will be, you may think I think so radically, but it’s not true. I speaking because I’m seeing peoples didn’t learned from the past, they accept that Jesus would be considered as a liar in the name of “respecting the other”.
I’m seeing people are doing the same mistakes our leaders and ancestors did in the past, and we are now paying the price… and this make me said.

It’s maybe because I hear and see what you don’t hear and see. But trust me when I tell you don’t be foolished by tittles like “The Religion of Peace”, or “Respecting Others”, or “Love” or any of those sensitive and peaceful terms… Because they know how to play those kind of games…

Just remember what Jesus said in Mat 7:15
" They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves."

Right here within CAF site, there is a “shop” tab on top, they have books on understanding islam. You can order them directly from here.

Stephen John,

Thanks for giving me your take on the diagram…I myself have always experienced one God, one Spirit all personified in Jesus Christ, God Made Man. We call that the grace of faith.

And you know that I also affirm the presence of the divine in you and draw on strength and faith in your comments…so God Bless you…

Our concern is from a defensive posture. We have lost millions to Islam through tragic means.

And last night a video was repeated, showing the imam who is insisting on building the mosque in NYC as saying right after 9/11, that although he regretted the actions of the fanatics, he said America had it coming causing the deaths of millions around the world…that sounds like the contact the Bolsheviks made with the militant Arabs in the 1930’s, and I experienced Marxism and its lies when in Africa.

The Marxists came in and many Christians and churches were wiped off the map in that country, enduring great persecution that the media did not have access to. Only now are reports being published and being sent out.

The imam is also wanting Sharia law for our country which is against our constitution. He is a supporter of Iranian backed Hamas. And now it is possible that both Saudi Arabia and Iran could be source of funds to build this complex. The leader does not want the presence of Jews or Christians’ history and contributions…it is all about promoting Islam, Sharia, and whatever else in this center next to the devastation and choosing the name Cordoba, the mosque built over the conquered Catholic cathedral in Spain.

Now because of the experiences people are having all over the country, there is now resistance in preventing any more mosques to be built.

And the American power leadership defending this imam are the very same ones who do not uphold the sanctity of human life.

The big issue of Islam is that wants so much rights, it sues, it is two faced, it has its students now present in every campus in the country intimidating our students and that is no accident. We know they are already working to silence our people, which is against our constitution.

So when I address, I am addressing as well this experience we have. America – and the Catholic Church – have long been the enemy and the price to conquer-- by totalitarian regimes.

And we wonder how many Muslims would enter Christian churches – just even to learn – but cannot for fear of retribution in our own country…the land of the free…this is not the effect of true religion.

The bottom line is that these imams and groups and lawsuits continue to reveal that they are demanding so much from our country, and on the other hand will not allow the same rights for Christians and others in the lands of their origins. Hypocrisy. No Christian practice, churches, promoting understanding of Christianity in Muslim countries…

*So in understanding that we are catholics and that I live in a country that allows “religious freedom”, how does one keep from making these same mistakes?
Just going around saying “watch out for wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing” and “do not make the same mistakes we made” or “because they know how to play those kind of games” does not help much.

How do you propose we stop making the same mistakes?
