Well that doesn’t surprise me. His assumed name is Christoph Luxenberg, he is an arab historian. You take a little time to ‘google’ him and consider his findings which to independent scholars appears to be devastating to the claim that the koran that you read is the original.

as long as he doesnt show his identity we cant take him serious,and no not really most muslims dont even know anything about him…he isnt taken serious by anyone,muslims and nonmuslims

In regards to reason, the Vatican has the greatest library in the world. Where is Islam’s? Where does one see Christians and Jews slaying the Muslims and taking over their sacred places?

Our faith is complete…we do not need to do such things…people are free…because God is so big. If people fail, they go to confession and are absolved…but in some places in Islam, people are already condemned, hands and legs cut off, adulterers buried and stoned to death…this is going back to very ancient times with no progress.

Finally, an Arab commentator said in the Middle East that most Muslims do not care about the mosque – being built in a commercial district, 13 stories with only 13 members by a leader who has ties to Hamas…and that if it goes up, with the devious name of Cordoba—the take over of the Cathedral and the replacement by a mosque.
the new mosque is simply a monument to terrorism and gives Islam another bad perception.

Christ does not teach us to do such things. The Muslims should ask the world for forgiveness of its sins against humanity, make true contrition, and join the global community as humane and equal partners.

It’s pointless. Muslims worship someone other than we do. Why continue to try to convince them that their god is God?

It may not be of very much importance to you, but it just doesn’t seem hoax like or corrupted to me. It’s kind of a take it or leave it thing. I can’t imagine what else it might have said before St. Jerome got a hold of it, because it seems pretty plain to me. But for what it’s worth, I held the Jesus is a teacher or prophet notion in my head for most of my 1/2 century of life until I literally “saw the light”. Long story.

Islam has no great library, they have no use for it. All they have is their magic book of desert fables and that’s it. Whatever question they have, they consult the Quran or Hadiths, because in their mentality, either any book will defy the Quran and its not made by Allah. To them, any literature outside the Quran is blasphemous, anti-Islamic, and does not follow the Prophet’s examples.

The “forcing” comes when a group of people insist that a company that produces a good, MUST hire Muslims. If the company CHOOSES to hire Muslims & produce halal food, fine. But demanding, boycotts, threats, etc is coercion. When a demand is met, it is usually followed by more & more. In a capitalist system, if there is a market for something, someone sees the need & starts his own business to get all the customers to himself. He certainly wouldnt demand others do it for him.
What happens if the halal demand is met but it is not profitable for the company? What if they decide to discontinue the halal? Im guessing all heck would break out & racism, Islamaphobia, etc would be flung around.

well it started by saying ALLAH = God = Jehovah.
where as ALLAH = pagan god was worshiped before Mohammad in Mecca and most precisely in the Kaaba where their is now the “Black Stone” that Muslim go and kiss it because they think it represent Allah and that it has fallen from heaven, and after Mohammad came, he continued to worship him.

Its very different here in Australia we have a free market system.
Consumers can put pressure on producers but it is still their right to choose and their is no legal way to force them. It will be decided by profit.

I think only people with prejudice issues would assume such a thing. Sorry to hear your country is in such a mess.

Unfortunately, it is a huge mess & people are quite fed up. It seems that some years ago, people noticed they could shut down an argument they had not answers for, by accusing the person of some kind of bigotry. People do not want to be called racist or accused of being intolerant. The arguments then shift from what they were talking about to that accused defending themselves or they shut up entirely. It is exasperating! Before President Obama was inaugurated, I told my husband that no matter what problem someone has with his policies, they will be accused of being racist. Yep. The ground zero mosque is another one. It doesnt matter how horribly insensitive the builders are to the ones who were murdered by muslims, the charge is racism (Islam is not a race so its kinda funny) & Islamophobia. In America, its called “playing the race card”.Its like the trump card, once its thrown, everything stops, game over. People are now so fed up with it that they don’t stop arguing their positions anymore, leading to more charges of insensitivity etc. It is incredible how a country that claims to have freedom of speech & respect for opposing views tries so hard to shut people up that dont agree with them. College campuses are notorious for shutting down free speech, if you can believe it. They have “free speech zones” sometimes. Amazing:shrug:
