I am wondering why we say “sin” at the beginning of mass during the Glory to God and “sins” during the end of mass with the Lamb of God?
For some reason I have a feeling is has to do with original “sin” at the beginning and our own sins we have commited during the end of mass but I just want to be sure in my thinking.
Thanks for any information or knowledge!

Great question. I wonder if there is theological reason or if it is more related to translating from the Latin. It will be interesting to find out.

Inconsistent and bad translating on the part of ICEL in the 70’s.
