Please remember me and my family in your prayers. I have been laid off for 3 weeks. I was given a severance package which eases the financial burden and have some savings. The fear of the unknown and when the job search will end certainly plays a heavy toll on the emotions. Thanks so much.

Prayer to St. Anthony for Employment

Blessed St. Anthony, who in life was ever mindful
of the needs of the afflicted, consuming himself
in the service of God and for the good of souls,
who was the enemy of idleness and a tireless worker
in the vineyard of the Lord, beseech God to grant
28deemac a suitable job, which may procure
a decent livelihood, and be at the same time
a means of personal sanctification and of real service to others.
We ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord, amen.

Advice and prayers. I was off for six months. I started going to daily mass and adoration at least twice a week. Yit is important to find out from God what opportunuties he is making available to you. Everything happens for a reason, and God knows the purpose.

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I have experience of unemployment and job hunting. Make it you new job, to hunt for a job. There are many resources. Rely on God and the prayers of those who care. I will keep you in my prayers.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph for the Unemployed

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers; grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries. Amen.

Lord, wash away any fear and worry from Deemac, and open the doors of possibility.
Lord, if it be your will, provide D with employment that brings honor to you, and provides for all the needs of D’s family in every way. May this be an opportunity of praise and thanksgiving to You O Lord, and may D steward the gainful employment with opportunities to serve you in whatever way you open…

Thanks be to God.
Forever
Amen.

Right now the trucking industry is short 100,000 drivers. Trucking companies are so hard up for drivers they will train you for free. Salaries start at 40k. So say a quick prayer and contact one of the big companies like Schneider, Crete, or any other number of companies and go get working again - you can do it. Good luck!

Praying that you may find suitable employment soon and for all necessary graces for you.

Prayer for Job Seekers**

Gracious and loving God, you know our need for meaningful work. Send your Holy Spirit to guide those who are searching for employment. Help them to recognize the gifts and talents you have given them.

Deepen their desire to follow your will. Inspire them as they contact potential employers. Give them patience as they wait for responses. Shelter them from feelings of rejection. Protect them from discouragement. Give them courage to overcome fear.

Shower on them the graces they need to persevere. Let this time of searching become an opportunity to grow in faith, to cultivate the virtue of hope, and to experience your healing love. We ask this through Chirst our Lord. Amen
