please pray for me…i just got this really really out of the blue message from this guy i was dating. i don’t want to go into details but i am so hurt and also worried about him. thanks.

Honey, we’ve all been there. Even if you don’t get back together with him, I know that someone wonderful is out there waiting for you.

Oh my, I just realized I sounded like my mother!:bigyikes:

Seriously though, gather your support systems (friends, family, us:), and use all of these people to lean on while you’re grieving this relationship. Give yourself time to heal before trying to move on.

i know, it’s just so hard. i’m already grieving the loss of my mother earlier this year and dreading upcoming holidays and reliving everything that happened in january when she died.

this guy was a wonderful catholic and by far the best person i’ve ever dated, but appears to be going through some of his own struggles right now.

anyway, thanks for the prayers, i am just a mess right now. i even called in sick tomorrow for work…“heartsick” i suppose.
 
i feel awful. crying for almost 24 hrs, couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep. my heart hurts.

Oh dear, we have all been there. Do not feel bad about needing to take a few days off. You poor dear :console::grouphug: you have a big hug from me and I’m sure everyone else in here. I know the ache in the stomach is so painful, you feel kicked and it is so very draining, especially the crying.

Keep us updated. I will be praying for you :gopray:
 
This must be a dreadfully trying time for you…and tho it may sound confusing at this time, God has a plan. I know when things come crashing down around me, I find it hard to console myself that God does indeed have a plan - I hope it will bring comfort to you. Keeping your mother in prayer too. A very trying time for you and one of deep loss…Barb
