I’ll go first:
Seen my guardian angel
Saw Mary in my Dream coaching me to say the Rosary
Saw a demon next to my wife while we were going through conversion.
Felt horribly frozen while awake in my bed several times while a dark spirit tormented me mentally mostly
And more.
Have you ever felt the exstacy of God in his presence…other than in adoration…I mean in your home in your own quarters? Wow. And no my mental healt is clear other than depression from time to time from living a difficult life.

Can someone make this into a new thread as a pole?
 
Ive had a couple of experiences with this sort of thing.
Firstly, when i started wearing the brown scapula, i was not praying the rosary everyday etc, but when i did start saying the rosary everyday and living the correctly Catholic life, I was laying in bed one night and i just put the scapula around my neck, turned the light out and was about to fall alseep, when i heard this booming voice that said ‘get it off’ and i just shuttered. I thought it was the neighbours screaming through my window, but on further inspection, there was noone outside my window. I check the rest of the house and noone was around. The thing was, as soon as i heard the ‘voice’ i felt so scared and stayed in the same position underneath my pillow for about a minute, then some calm came over me and i felt like there was nothing to fear and felt quite at ease, even said ‘yeah right im taking this off’.

The second time i was praying for my boss who was on his death bed, it wasnt long ago that he converted to Catholicism, and i was praying for him. When he died, i felt that night a very ‘peaceful’ vibe in my room, it felt like he came to me to say thank you for praying and then that peaceful feeling left when i felt him go. I didnt see anything, but i surely felt something. This was later confirmed in my dreams he was around me.
 
Very cool, and I can definitely relate to your first experience. I had just started trying to pray the rosary again after not doing Catholic things for over 17 years. I felt much like I was offending God and saw the Blessed Mother in my dream…it was very real… But the demon was in my bed face to face when I turned to something I couldn’t quite make out and his face jumped in my face a nose away and it screamed, more like hissed at me and screamed or screetched across the room towards the upper corner oposite me… It naver came back but it scared the **** out of me too. I didn’t show any emotion and began a litany of Saints that convinced me this Catholic stuff is real.

Right before a major automobile that I was in in 1985 my guardian angel appeared to me right after an oncoming car slammed into my side passenger panel. I rolled about 6 to 8 times and right before rolling he immediately appeared as a bright light, his face formed as if to show me it was him and then he circled me instantly as to shield me from the rolling over. I should have died in the accident. It’s a miracle I’m alive… That’s not the first and only time in my life that I should have died though. But it was the most profound one. All these years I burried this experience and then got brave a little less than a year ago to share it with our pastor. He shared a scary experience like yours with me. You see I read about Padre Pio and know that Satan and his demons are really afraid of us…Baptised beleivers. We have power over them. That is why I refused to show my emotions during the event. It took me a few days before I opened up to my wife to tell her about it. I thought she’d think I was crazy or something. It did freak her out. But I believe it was a sign for me…I was doubting my vocation in the domestic Church. one our marriage was convalidated this happened shortly afterwards. The kids had also just been baptised. I’m sure your story is like mine…too much to discuss on this forum.

I think this is more likely the phenomenon called “sleep paralysis.” Frequently people have claimed to be visited by extraterrestial beings during it.
 
You know I think most of us have seen something unexplained but usually we try to rationalise them afterwards. I mean we say things like I was imagining it or “Ah, maybe it was a reflection of the light” etc… We are afraid to tell of our experiences because we have the people to fear!

Amongst the things of the Faith that I thought I saw 😉 (maybe I am rationalising again!!) were, the side profile of John Paul II in the sky, a stern looking Jesus looking out of the tabernacle when it was opened before Communion. A flash of light over the sanctuary of our Church during the consecration and various sized darts of rainbow coloured light falling on people as they received Communion on Pentecost Sunday.

on a more serious note I have heard many things during prayer and have received many inspirations during prayer also but will keep them for a later thread on things we have heard with our own ears / souls during prayer.
 
Yes it happened this Feb. I was standing in the family room and the whole room shook. I said to my husband my God did you feel that. He said no what are you talking about. I was like how did you miss it. Next day was in the bedroom the whole house shook. It happened 3 times in a week. March 1 this year my Dad died. Thinking back 50 years ago i remember my Mom and Dad talking that they felf the whole house shake. They both felt it that time a week later her brother died. I never put 2 and 2 together until 2 months after he died. It was my warning from God he was comming to take Daddy. I missed it some how. I never will again.
 
One personal experience that comes close to what you have related here happened a number of years ago: One morning as I was still asleep I had a vivid dream in which I was watching a parade of soldiers passing by on the street; one company of soldiers went by whose ranks were greatly depleted in comparison to the others. At the same time I heard a voice say “pray for the fallen.” The next thing I know our radio alarm goes off with the news of the bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon where over 200 were killed.

In this case you may be right, but the dark cloudy being can be explained how? I’m open to that one. But the ones while awake would mean psychosis…and I don’t have that.
 
Very profound stories guys. Thanks for sharing. I have many more. The wreck I spoke about, I dreamed it 3 times before it happened. But it happened slightly different in real life. My wife and son have had significatn dreams lately since conversion to Catholicism began in late 2006. My son’s considering the priesthood and his dream reflects that of a chosen one. My wife’s is kind of scary in that they - the congregation she grew up in - killed someone on purpose because of Catholcism. It’s disturbing. My experience is something I draw from that gives me strength to continue on in the “good fight”. You know there’s a real spiritual battle taking place as we speak.

Pray without ceasing.

Then years later it happens, Like you can walk into a house you have never been in, and you know that the kitchen is off to the left, or a color in one of the rooms. Or at a event and think this is so familiar but know for a fact you have never been there. And you know what is going to happen next but its so fast that you dont even have the time to tell someone your with to prove it to them. But dont get me wrong, this cant be confused with having special powers, or predicting the future or anything. This isnt evil or scarey or anything like that its just what it is, unexplained. And its not a common thing.
 
Dejavu…a priest/friend while I was still a seminarian in my youth did a disertation on this. You experience, though slightly different maybe, could be explained with this…synaptic break hickups It’s a phenomina known as degavu.

I know what it is and have heard the word, But what really is it, what i mean is where did their investigations lead them to. Is it from God, is it a lesson of some sort, is it to have some meaning in my life?
 
The Metal rings of my rosary turned to the color of gold from silver right before my eyes. It is still this color today.

Could we have a photo please? This has happened with many a cheap bead and is mistakingly taken for a miracle especially by the Medj guys. Happened to me too but I see it as a good sign of wear and tear!
