I find it disturbing how some of their affiliates, supporters, and those they support include the Communist Party, North Korea (a totalitarian state), and Fidel Castro (the tyrant of Cuba). They support or accept support from tyrannies and communism, but oppose, in their own words, the “American empire.”
I don’t mistake those who support a cause with support for all who speak on behalf of that cause. Many fine people opposed the war in Iraq who aren’t affiliated with Communism, Totalitarianism, or Castro-style tyrrany. My advice to those who oppose the Iraqi war is to steer clear of groups like this. To oppose the Iraqi war is one thing, but to do so by joining groups that support communism and other doctrines that deprive citizens of basic human rights is shoot oneself in the foot in the worst kind of way.
