Uniting the Patriarchs of Antioch

All this raises one question in my mind.

Does the usage of the Creed in the Sunday Liturgies mean that the Patriarchates of Antioch should be united into one Patriarchate or not?

Or is it safe to assume that this thread has wandered way off topic?
