The real issue here is that people keep expanding the role of government, and they expect everyone else to pay for it.

If you want to do something, then pay for it yourself. If you want me to help you pay for it, then ask me.
Just don’t try to force me to do it.

People supporting the role of government in this or that are also paying tax. Why do you talk as if you’re the only one paying for it?

no, not every working person in this country pays taxes- there is a minimum income level below which taxes are not paid
