I do not know this person’s name. They lost a brother to suicide and are thinking about taking their own life. Please pray they will make the right decision this morning.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent, but with great confidence,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will,
which is love and mercy itself. Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Please encourage this person to immediately seek help for suicidal ideation. It’s important and necessary. Prayers said that this person may not fall into despair and also take their own life.

John 12:46
I come a light into the world that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

Lord you stand outside the door, life giving light in your presence if only he would turn the key and welcome You. I pray he will hear You knocking on his heart and may he gather up their courage and choose to live, choose life. You Lord offer him light, and guidance and salvation itself. You are patient and loving. Surround him with Your sheltering arms. Jesus you seek to be his mountain, faithful forever, secure in Your love, unmovable in times of peril. Help him to see the joyful life You have designed him to live. Shield him from the wrong decisions, give him the strength to embrace his life for himself and for those who love him. In Jesus Christ name I pray. Thank you Lord.

(I don’t know him but if my love in Jesus and the love of Jesus in others can comfort him in the love he doesn’t feel to save him from this sadness, I ask Gods mercy upon this prayer.

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially the suicidal person we are praying for now.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to your divine will.

Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.
We ask this through Christ our Lord who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.
