**Unlock Your Burdens
**
Deep within your heart in a mighty chamber,
Reside the many burdens that you remember,
Chained to the wall and secured by locks,
That when you open you receive great shocks.
These burdens are happenings from our past,
Either done by us or to us by others but last.
They drag us down and often keep us sad,
Persisting in harm and making us feel bad.
The burdens haunt us deeply in our heart,
Causing great inner pain never to depart.
Often we feel as if we just cannot cope;
The burdens strangling even our last hope.
We search and search for the answer truly
For each burden’s lock, there must be a key.
Blessed are we for Jesus is the true key,
To unlock these burdens and set them free.
Using Jesus as the key, we open the rusted lock,
Releasing the burden, enduring the nasty shock.
We share it with Jesus, who either takes it away,
Or reduces the pain in His wonderful merciful way.
Jesus balms the wound with His tender grace,
With love He heals the long injured place,
For greater than any hurt is His love for us;
For to help us, all He needs in our trust.
