The only way the priest could win back control of the parish was probably by getting rid of the lot of em in one operation: an orthodox Catholic **Blitzkrieg**! The Bishop must have agreed. In the end, thatd be less painful for everyone…especially the priest. Hit em hard and fast, so that they dont have a chance to regroup. A quick surgical operation.

Fr. C`s “Surrender is NOT an Option” comes to mind.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

It is absolutely not his Parish to run as he sees fit. Everything he does must be in full accordance with the Church and any personal ideas any priest has which do not conform to the Church’s expectations must be discarded.
I DID NOT say THAT.[Do spell everything out?]It is ABSOLUTELY his Parish to run as he sees fit under the supervision of his Bishop and according to the teachings of the Magisterium,Holy Scripture and Holy Tradition.Did you think that if he saw “fit” to have Satanic masses I would be OK with that?

If he thinks certain committees are superfluous or radicalized-poof-out they go.The Parish like the Church is not a democracy. The priest is ordained and appointed by his Bishop. We are NOT.I have served on advisory boards for our Priest but nothing is voted on-we presnt recommendations and he says yes or no-end of discussion.Period.HE runs the Parish as he sees fit-It is HIS responsibility-If some don’t like his style or adherence to orthodoxy tough beans.
