Cause we need them now more than ever…the “gay” celebrity is touting acceptance, support for same sex marriage, planning to march in gay parades, appearing with Oprah, getting salutations from the President and past Presidents and likened to heroes like Jackie Robinson…but these gay celebrities are heros for who…

Vaughan Roberts, “Same-Sex Attraction – A Battle I Face” – a model of a godly response

In a tremendously brave move Vaughan Roberts, rector of St Ebbe’s, Oxford, and a prominent leader amongst English evangelicals has announced that he experiences same-sex attraction and yet he remains celibate since this is the clear teaching of Scripture.
It’s helpful for background to understand that in the Church of England, in which Vaughan is an ordained minister, we have had increasing interventions by theological liberals over this issue, advocating for the acceptance of homosexuality in general and the blessing of same-sex relationships. Vaughan’s statement and interview ought to be read not least as a contribution to that debate.

WASHINGTON, DC (Catholic Online) - Father Greg Schaffer is the priest who tends the Newman Center at George Washington University in D.C. He has drawn the ire of two students, one who isn’t even Catholic and self-identifies as an “agnostic” and another who was turned away from the priesthood after proclaiming his same-sex attraction to other men.

The students claim that Fr. Schaffer advised students who sought him for counseling were told they should remain celibate if they struggled with same-sex attraction.

The students claim this is anti-gay behavior.

We are anti-gay because we do not support people that want to have their actions accepted and those that profess other than this support are unsung heroes…we need more.
