Not sure how to even begin to ask for help, but here’s the situation: my mother and I are being harassed/bothered by things unseen in my house. We pray for discernment to help the spirits with what they need, but I’m concerned they are not benevolent. Please pray for us that we can learn how to co-exist or even rid ourselves from these episodes. PLEASE PRAY that these spirits can rest as God has intended and enjoy the ever lasting life our Lord has promised.

Aljay , I had a similar situation, and asked my Priest about it. He said to get the place Blessed, use Holy Water. Can you get your house Blessed?
Pope Francis tells us not to dialogue with the devil. So just pray to God, Jesus, Virgin Mary and St Joseph, only, when you feel this situation arising.

The correct way to help the dead, for us, is to pray for those in Purgatory, and if we want, gain indulgences for our dead. We open ourselves up to the lies of the devil if we start dialogue/discernment like you describe. You don’t need to co-exist, God protects us. Through His Priests and their blessings.

I pray you get your place Blessed as soon as is convenient.

Ask your priest to come and bless your house. Maybe it’s one of your deceased relatives watching over you from heaven, as God allows that. Or possibly it’s a soul in purgatory. If you haven’t felt anything negative, it’s probably not something demonic. I am praying for you. :crossrc:
 
As said above, talk to your Pastor and have your home blessed.
Don’t engage with anything “unseen” in your home
 
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits that roam around the world seeking the ruin of souls,

Thank you for your note and we do pray when things start up. We did have a priest bless this house last year and for two nights, my mother and I were unable to sleep. The activity was incredible and scarier than I want to admit. That being said, I’m terrified of another blessing. Sounds terrible, but true. I will definitely try another blessing and see what happens. Calling my Priest in the morning.
