Upcoming surgery / kidney stone

I was diagnosed with a large kidney stone in October, that needs to be removed surgically. It is not causing serious problems presently and we want to get it out before it does.

I met with the surgeon yesterday, and we are looking at doing the procedure in early to mid January. He said I should expect to be out of work for a week. Also mentioned the possibility that, since this will be a challenging surgery, we may not get all of the stone on the first try, so a second procedure may be needed. Please pray for success on the first pass.

Please help @MrZoom as he prepares for this operation.
In Your love, guard and protect him. Through the doctors’
skill and the surgical team’s care, dear Lord, please restore

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into MrZoom’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Christ said to His loved ones: I am with you, fear not, be not anxious. May I, then, be confident that in the trials and crosses of my life that You, O Lord, will be my constant companion. Whenever I cannot stand, You will carry me lovingly in Your arms.

May I have no fear of what may happen tomorrow. For the same Eternal Father Who cares for me today will take care of me tomorrow and everyday of my life. You, O Lord, will either shield me from suffering or give me strength to bear it patiently. May I be at peace, then and put aside all useless thoughts, anxieties, and worries.
