There will be a prep procedure on Monday, the 6th, and the actual surgery will be on Tuesday the 7th. (Eastern Orthodox Christmas, I just realized. 🎄 )

I went to confession this afternoon and mentioned to the priest that I was having surgery. He offered me anointing of the sick, which I happily accepted.

Praying your procedure and surgery go well and there is quick and full recovery which comes from our healing Lord. May He guide all your doctors and nurses.

I got sick over the weekend and was admitted to the hospital yesterday. Surgery has been delayed to January 14.

I was released from the hospital Thursday. Got some good news, the last urine sample taken on Tuesday came back with no infection.

I did have a minor scare today … but it was resolved. All I’ll say is that I’m glad I had some bottles of sterile water lying around.
 
Good news. Unfortunate your surgery was postponed, but continuing prayers for its success and a healthy recovery.
