Update #2 on our Crown Money Coach/budget

Well, things are going pretty well. We have been able to make most of the changes that he suggested as far as our spending. We were lucky to have some cash leftover from the holidays and we have been using that for the once-per-week eating out for pizza or taco bell or such. also, DH picked up some extra pay by getting a “summer” job a video store, but they needed someone right away so he starts this week. AND…my first burrito sale went really well and covered groceries for 2 weeks! It’s amazing how the Lord will help you when you need it. We are doing just great and know that in 30 months our problems will be behind us. please…if you have money or budget issues, go to www.crown.org and request a money coach in your area. it’s all free and these folks know way more than any of us! twk

Glad to hear you’re on the right path.

I contacted Crown and since I specifically asked for the Catholic resources, I was put in touch with someone from crowncatholic who is not in my area. We’ve talked a bit via email and he’s sending me a book. I’ll look at it when it arrives and then ponder our next step.
