"…The best way to stop this is to renounce it’s use in confession, burn all the homeopathic books, pills, etc. after they have been sprinkled with holy water. You do not want to release demonic spirits from these things when burning them. The holy water binds their actions and moves them to the place they belong through the authority of Holy Mother Church and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Herbal remedies are absolutely NOT the same as Homeopathy! Herbal remedies are using the herb in a way that God intended such as a tea or a poultice. Even when making an herbal tincture you use lots of the herb and cover it with usually alcohol. In time the alcohol helps extract the healing properties in the herb, concentrates them in the alcohol thus making them effective by using say a teaspoon three times a day. This is NOT homeopathy! You have worked with the natural laws God set forth for our greatest good when using herbs in the normal way God intended.
I hope this helps everyone understand why homeopathy is a serious spiritual problem for anyone including Catholics.

Paranoid much?
Hanehmman was not an occultist of any kind. He was a very intelligent, classically trained medical man who rightly despaired at the state of his day’s technology, which basically involved bleeding and poisoning patients to death. We forget that mainstay treatments of that time included mercury, arsenic and antimony salts! Hanehmann was one of the first to carry out controlled trials of medications in any semi-modern sense of the word. That said, his observations did lead to some faulty conclusions. For example, one pillar of homeopathy states that like cures like. The same drug that creates the symptoms of a disease can cure it. It seems very likely that Hanehmann drew this conclusion based upon trials of cinchona/quinine bark on himself. The drug was, and is used to treat malaria. When he took some of it himself, he developed malaria-like symptoms of fever, chills etc. and a theory was born. We now know that it is very likely that he was experiencing a drug allergy and not quinine’s usual effects. A theory gets built on a rotten foundation.
His other main concept says that diluted forms of a drug produce more powerful, or at least lasting effects than the concentrated version. It’s well established in toxicology that smaller doses can have radically different effects than larger ones, but he took it to an absurd extreme. At what the homeopaths call “high” potencies, ie high dilutions, the parent molecule is diluted out of existence. To explain that paradox, practiioners say the solution “remembers” the original molecule somehow, perhaps by some vague mechanism of quantum mechanics. Pretty hinky science, to say the least.
That said, I have had some benefit from certain homeopathic formulas, most especially one called Traumameel, which is available in a cream and tablets. It’s based on arnica and other things which are anti-inflammatory. It’s a “low potency:” mix in terms of homeopathy, which means it has a good deal of active ingredient in it in real world terms. Most of the rest I’ve tried is junk , though I do make good use of standard herbal formulas and vitamins etc.
