Update - Married but having feelings for someone else

Just wanted to update you all because your replies were INCREDIBLY helpful!

I went to confession that weekend told the Priest about how I had been feeling and he was very understanding. He asked me to pray for my family and I have been doing so ever since then.

As I previously mentioned, I was praying a Novena for the strength to turn away from temptation and I can sincerely say that I no longer have feelings for this other man (praise God), nor do I have any contact with him or spend any time thinking about him.

This whole experience has really strengthened my relationship with God and my family, especially my husband. I have been trying to be a more loving wife toward him and he has more than reciprocated my efforts. I was mistaken to think that another man could compare to the one who has lived this life with me for so many years through all the ups and downs.

because it is so true ! I don’t remember who has this phrase in her signature here, something like “we need to change. I’ll go first”
from my mere 6 months of marriage, that’s what I learn everyday !

AMEN! What a wonderful story to hear! This is what we need to hear about on the news rather than the number of people who cheat and call it quits!
