Update on Friend's Dad, "Reg"

Dear all,

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Received word today, that my friend’s Dad, “Reg” died last Sunday. May Perpetual Light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the Faithful Departed Rest in Peace. Amen. Please let us continue to pray for Chris, his Mom and family.

In his e-mail, Christ wrote:
…I’m sorry to tell you that Reg passed away on Sunday. He defied predictions and hung in there, but at 86, he did well. I’m sorry I didn’t let you know before now, but grief took over and even today, I’m absent-minded.

I am joyful that Dad is in heaven as I’m sure he is, because he lived our Lord’s words in all he did. We only grieve for ourselves I feel, and am focused now on the joy he will be experiencing.
