UPDATE on our missing cat

Ok…trying not to get too excited, BUT…my husband and I just talked, and he said he went looking this morning for our cat again…(he leaves later for work than me) and he said three people saw the cat this morning, down by the bus stop at our neighborhood entrance. They described him to a tee…and he said that they all noticed that he ran out from under a truck that started up this morning. Poor thing–he must be scared!!! And trying to find his way back to us! 😦

Anyways…my husband works for Disney, and he is going to offer a reward of getting up to three people into one of the parks for free, any time this year–thought that would be a great way to get everyone looking, no? We’re going to make up new fliers and pass them out this weekend, if he hasn’t returned before then. Also, gonna tell the kids when they arrive home from school, to put food out for him on the edge of the porch, and sit hidden, to see if that gets him close.

I hope it’s him you guys!!! :o
 
Oh, this is a delayed post…this happened earlier, and I posted it in the first thread, but thought I’d start a new thread with the latest developments. :o

😃 yes, it might be interesting to see how many kitties show up at our door in the hands of well intentioned neighbors…lol after we post this next flier. I am not one for rewards, because sometimes it might sound bogus, but my husband really can get up to three people into Disney for free…doesn’t have to be family, on a special pass…and he’s willing to go that extra mile for our dd. For me, too. 😛
 
I hope you find him!! Just remember to put REWARD on the filer but don’t be specific.

What does that have to do with a poor person looking for help trying to find their poor lost family pet? Use a little tact, please.

Strangest comment to date, I think, but since you ask…Disney does not sponsor ‘gay days.’ They simply have designated days for groups to come through, so if the knights of columbus wanted to all come on a particular day to Disney, they could. But, Disney doesn’t give these special interest groups discounts, etc…it’s a common misconception. I take it the reward wouldn’t sway you.

Anyways, many people dislike Disney. I’m not offended.

St. Francis, please help this lonely little kitty find his way home to his family.
 
Uh, we went to look for the cat tonight, someone spotted him at around 5:30, and then he took off again. So get this…dd and I decided to call it a night, and walk home…(we live in a pretty quiet subdivision where there are woods and lakes around us) and this little cat followed us all the way home! It’s on our front porch now…can you believe it? He is adorable, and so loving. He just loved my dd. Sad to say this, but he is a bit nicer to my dd than our missing one! :o 😛 Saber can be fiesty and used to bite dd at times. :o But anyways, this cat that followed us home…is so cute! I gave him some dried crunchies…and he ate them so fast. Poor thing. There is a rumor that there is a cat that fits this one’s description, who is a stray in the neighborhood.

Too cute. Just sharing. I thought it was funny that the ‘wrong’ cat followed us home tonight.:rolleyes:

How weird that you said this–!!! I JUST SAID THIS to my kids! Although, my son looked at me and said…uh, yeah right, mom. w-h-a-t-e-v-e-r! 😛 I’m with you though Lily, maybe this cat followed us home for a reason. I just went outside again, and the ‘new’ kitty who followed us home, is ‘guarding’ our porch, and ‘screeched’ at a cat that came into the driveway. Oh brother. This isn’t quite what I thought would happen!

hope he’s nicer to ‘old’ kitty when he comes back :eek:
