Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Thanks you so much for your prayers for Amy and Debbie. Amy had a series of tests done, and her local Doctor told her whatever is causing her sickness, he simply does not have the expertise to solve or treat for her healing. He did what he could after researching her symptoms, but has sent her test results and his professional notes on what he has done thus far to a Doctor who is a specialist. We are waiting to hear back from the specialist and when Amy may be able to see him. We feel this is some progress, but Amy is still not feeling very well, so please continue to remember her in your prayers.
I spoke to Debbie on the phone last night, and I only wish I could be closer to her (geographically ). I’m grateful her sister Mary is a nurse and can help her understand some medical procedures, etc. Debbie is suffering a great dea,l but her faith remains strong and she is really anxious to get this surgery over with tomorrow, and proceed to the next phase. Actually they discovered one problem while seeking to solve another. She needs to get through this surgery tomorrow and heal before they can even think about the next one. Debbie said she simply put herself in God’s Hands. I assured her that is the best place to be!
Thanks again for remembering these two nieces. They and we as a family are very grateful to have so many brothers and sisters to call upon to bolster our own prayers for them, for their medical teams, and for those who love them in the special relationships God has given us.
