You may recall my wife Sandy who is fighting non-hodgkins lymphoma cancer. She was diagnosed in Nov of last year. We made a trip to the U of Michigan cancer center at Ann Arbor this past tues, to see a lymphoma specialist. He is sure that her cancer is a follicular lymphoma to which there is no cure. She will have it the rest of her life, but it is very treatable to extend her life. It’s just a question if she wants to endure all of what’s ahead. I told her that it’s mostly her decision, but I would give opinions if needed. She has been feeling pretty good, but very tired all the time. Please pray for her that she may be able to endure what’s ahead, and for me that I may be the caregiver that I’m expected to be. God Bless all people that are fighting cancer.

I pray that God will give you both the grace to persevere and to endure whatever you may face. Trust in God’s providence.

God Bless

Praying for Sandy:
  • In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen.

Davy, you and Sandy are in my prayers, that God will give all possible graces and wisdom, and will give you great strength, tenderness, and faith to go through whatever Sandy chooses, with God’s blessing.

I’m sad for what you both are going through

May you and Sandy find great strength and comfort in receiving Jesus in the Eucharist and through prayerful days together. May you and Sandy have a very close relationship with Jesus and Mary to help you endure whatever God asks you to suffer. May all of your and Sandy’s suffering be united to Jesus’ on the cross for the salvation of your souls and for the Kingdom. May you and Sandy be open to receive as many graces from our Lord to make your lives the most blessed and filled with his peace. Amen.
