I want to thank you all for your prayers a few weeks ago. I received this e-mail today from my friend. I had cut and pasted all your prayers to her via e-mail when I ran that thread. Thank you again and blessed Lent.
Dear friends,
I’m writing to thank you. My nephew xxx has just been released from the burn unit, and the doctors believe he will recover completely. His new skin has almost completely grown back, he incurred no deadly infections, and his eyes seem to be fine. The speed and degree of his healing have astonished the medical staff who cared for him. A nurse told my brother that xxxx’s was the worst case of Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (the most serious type of Stevens Johnson Syndrome) that he had seen in his 27 years at the burn unit. The top doctor said of his recovery, “It has to be God.”
