I am sorry to hear that. I hope the situation in Spain changes soon.
 
A few more updates.

The Traditional Latin Mass will be held on the first and third Friday of each month at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria, Virginia. saintmaryparish.net/ Apparently someone started a thread about it several months ago that I completely missed.

As I mentioned in another thread the Traditional Latin Mass will be held every Sunday at 11:15 at Holy Rosary Chapel in Marin, California. wdtprs.com/blog/2008/02/tlm-in-san-francisco/

One correction: earlier in this thread I wrote that St. Rsoe of Lima Church in Illinois was reported as being taken over by the FSSP. I have since learned that this has not taken place yet and will not until later this year.
 
I know it’s already been posted that Patton, Pa has a Latin Mass every Sunday afternoon, but I received this e-mail this morning:

**On March 2nd (Laetare Sunday) at 1 PM, a Traditional Latin HIGH Mass will be celebrated at Queen Of Peace Church in Patton, PA. A schola from State College will chant the Gregorian Common and Propers, and Latin-English missalettes will be provided. All are invited to attend a social in the church hall immediately following Mass.

Queen of Peace Church is located at 907 Sixth Ave in Patton, PA. [The town of Patton is just north of Ebensburg – drive north on Route 219 about 8 miles to Carrolltown, then turn right at the stoplight onto Carroll Street and drive 5 miles east to Patton.]

Woo!. Considering that there are thousands of Catholic churches in the US. A very tiny amount, in comparison to guitar Masses. We need more!!!.
 
I would just like to say that our parish in NW AR is celebrating it’s first Traditional High Mass on March 15 for the feast of St Joseph. That is our patron Saint. It’s not regularly scheduled yet but it’s a start and I’m very hopeful.
 
Does anyone know what happened to the daily Mass (TLM) that was going to be at St. John the Evangelist in San Diego?

Where in Illinois is St. Rose of Lima?
 
The Traditional Latin Mass will be held in the following locations:

St. Francis of Assisi Church in East Palo Alto, California on the first Friday of each month at 7 PM.

The Carmilite House of Prayer in Oakville, California Sundays at 8 AM and also daily.

I was informed that St. John the Baptist Church in New Haven, Indiana was having the Traditional Latin Mass twice weekly during the week. CTN Greg is reporting (from Fr. Joseph Shetler) that regular Sunday celebrations of the TLM will begin March 9 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin’s in Starkenburg, MO.

Father added:

“In addition, plans are in the works for regular Satuday celebrations,
at 9:00 a.m. at the Carmelite monastery in Jefferson City. Please
continue to pray for us as we finalize these plans.”
 
From CTNgreg the following news:

"The diocese of Cininnati has approved a FSSP chapliancy for the Dayton Latin
Mass Community. Fr Wojdelski is our chaplain. Fr Wojdelski has been coming to
Dayton from Indiana for over a year to say Mass on Sundays. He will now take up
residence in Dayton and we will offically be an apostolate of the Fraternity of
St Peter.

“We will have daily Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Church beginning March 16.
The Mass schedule is Monday thru Thursday at noon, Friday at 7 pm, Saturday 9
am and Sunday at 8:45 am.”
 
Effective July 1st, Fr. Parent will be the chaplin of the Latin Mass community in central and southern Maine. Besides being responsible for our Noon Sunday Mass at the Cathedral, he will be starting the Mass at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston. That one will probably be early morning, so he will have time to get to Portland for the 12:00.
 
According to the CTNGreg email list, St Rose of Lima Church in Quincy, IL has been given to the FSSP, so presumebly they will have Sunday and daily Mass.

Do you know when they will be coming here?
 
This is some amazing information. Thanks for the hard work, Sir Catholic. I was thinking that I was out of luck as far as TLM goes in NC, but saw that they offer it at Wake Forest. I just sent them an email to find out days and times. I’ve never had the opportunity to attend a TLM before, and I’m really looking forward to it.
 
Got a reply from the priest at Wake Forest last night, so I thought I would post the times for any of you in the Winston-Salem area. It seems that the priest isn’t there in the summer, so I’d email them at webersf@wfu.edu before going out there after the dates listed below.

FRI April 18 11:00 a.m.

St. Mary’s Church, Akron, OH. will go to a weekly Traditional Latin Mass (Sunday at 1:00 PM), effective December 2nd.
