Praying for the repose of the soul of little Noah…

*Réquiem æternam dona ei, Dómine,

et lux perpétua lúceat ei.

Anima eius, et ánimæ ómnium fidélium defunctórum,

per misericórdiam Dei requiéscant in pace.

Amen*

and for comfort for his grieving family…

*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen*

As soon as my kids are in bed and I have some quiet time, I will pray for Noah and his family again, especially for his grandmother- the grandmother was watching Noah and his sister while the parents were out… She took the kids for a walk and got distracted by Noah’s sister (4 years old), which anyone with small kids knows can happen easily. That was when Noah wandered off- there are sinkholes in the area, so he may have fallen in one; I don’t know. Of course, the internet detectives are out in full force, beating up the woman without even knowing her.

I will pray tonight that she can find peace.
