Some updates from the Chrysostom Seminar last Tuesday in Rome:
CNS, US Catholic, and an interview on Vatican Radio with presenter Fr Peter Galadza, a married Ukrainian Greek Catholic prelate and professor of Oriental liturgy at the Sheptysky Institute in Ottawa (scroll down to “listen here”).

Wonderful article. I was especially glad (1) to read about the celibate Latin priest expressing sympathy with the non-Latin position, and (2) Fr. Loya’s assertion that the married priesthood should not be seen as a fix to the shortage of priests. Married priests are not the answer to a shortage of vocations.

Blessings,
Marduk
