HB2115 pro-life (particularly requiring a medical condition, as opposed to hearsay, be given for one’s providing a late-term abortion to save a mother’s life that can be reviewed by an outside commission of some kind) bill. Hopefully, it would make the procedure rarely ever done, at least by the world’s standards for when abortion is necessary. Most of the Kansas House and Senate approve it and it’s going to The Governor.

It’s worth trying to convince the governor to sign this bill. But I think he may veto it. Parkinson is not known as a pillar of pro-choice as was his predecessor, Kathleen Sebelius.

We do want him to sign it, right? If he is not as pro-abortion as he was, then he might make it law instead of vetoing it, right? In any case, if the state bill process is like federal bill process, there seems a possibility of a veto overturning majority.
