Urgent! Host Desecration Videos on YouTube

I am not sure if this post is in the right place, but this is important.
There are several videos on YouTube shown promoting or even committing the heinous act of desecrating hosts, sometimes consecrated!

We need to do something about this!
 
So what steps have you taken? Did you contact YouTube and ask them to remove it? Tell them it is offensive?
 
Is there a way for you to flag those videos as inappropriate content?

There’s a Flag and report button. Sounds like these videos are worthy of its use.

Yes I messaged YouTube and flagged ever channel and every video that posted such heinous acts, I just wanted everyone else to do the same and to be mindful of it.
 
The thing about YouTube is that it doesn’t really have a report category for “offensive” content, just hateful, that’s what I reported, as well as “repulsive”

I spent a good hour getting everything reported. Worth my time tbh, I never realized these videos were still here.

I’ve seen petitions made and posted to YouTube and they pulled the videos before, but they were later reposted

These videos are all old but geez I just want them off the internet.

There’s probably more of these videos on other sites, should we go out and find them and try to remove them?

There is also a lot of Satanist content on YouTube, do we have to report that too?

Sorry for filling so much of the board, but I’ve been spending so long reporting anti-Christian content like Satanic music on YouTube and it’s getting tiresome.

Is it our moral responsibility to do this or am I taking this too far?
 
If I understand how YouTube works all you really have to do is make a copy right claim and they remove the video without investigating. Underhanded, perhaps. But for a cause like this, maybe worth it.
 
But wouldn’t you be claiming to be the owner of such content then 😰
 
Yes. According to many creators however, YouTube is incredibly swift and unfair in punishing people for these strikes. There’s potentially music you could say is copy written?

But yes I understand your dilemma.
 
The ends don’t justify the means, you can just report it

My question is is it our obligation to report everything? There’s so much blatantly satanic and gross content on YouTube

It’s against their terms of service to be hateful to a religious group, and a lot of videos promote that. And I mean a lot

There’s a frightening amount of Satanic content promoting evil

If you come across it perhaps. I wouldn’t think you have the obligation to seek it out to report.
 
Are you certain they are consecrated and if so, how do you know? They may be saying that to upset people. It’s pretty difficult to gain access to a consecrated host. Consecrated Hosts are not just lying around, you’d have to attend Mass and receive the Eucharist and then not consume it, which is difficult in most churches because they watch very carefully and I’ve seen priests chase people down to tell them to consume or return. The only other possible way to secure a Host would be to accost a priest, nun, or layman taking the Sacrament to the sick. Even eBay prohibits the sale of consecrated Hosts.

If they’re not consecrated, then while it’s annoying & disturbing, it’s not desecration. I’d report the videos as hate speech and see what happens.
