Urgent: job location transfer

We’ve been told that our office is transferring to another city. The lease contract expires this end of June and they’re not renewing it. I don’t think I can continue at this job when this happens, because with the expenses I will be incurring, it seems not worth it.

I was thinking of asking my manager tomorrow if she is amenable to me working remotely, since everything is submitted and shared online anyway. If not, then I guess I’ll have to resign, which I means I have to look for work again. This current one is a new position, I just joined this May. Another option is for the office to remain in the city. The office manager said he did find a place here, but he didn’t like it.

Would like to ask for prayers. I know it is not up to me, but I hope that my managers would allow me to work remotely, I mean it’s also cheaper for them with overhead, I can volunteer to use my own laptop instead of theirs. Another thing is I hope the manager would reconsider that location that he doesn’t want, but is near to our current one. If not, then it’s job hunting for me once again, oh well.

Just a little advice, try to find a job before you resign … easier to get a job when you have a job … best of luck and God Bless.
