I have just learned that an old friend of mine, Michael, is facing a tremendously difficult time in his life, and may be drifting into despair. I can’t give any more details than that, but everyone please say a prayer for him.

I have placed your petitions for your friend Michael within my heart and will carry them with me to Mass and I will remember your petitions in my daily prayers. May St. Michael and the angels intercede for him and protect him. Amen!

Father, we come to You now with Michael. Only You know his suffering. I ask You to send Your angels from heaven above to his side. Have them comfort and defend him from all evil. Allow him to understand this protection has come from You. May this bring him closer to Your son Jesus Christ! AMEN

CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
