Day 2
O Queen of Heaven and earth,
most Holy Virgin,
we venerate thee.
Thou art the beloved daughter
of the Most High God,
the chosen mother of the Incarnate Word,
the immaculate spouse of the Holy Spirit,
the sacred vessel of the Most Holy Trinity.
O Mother of the Divine Redeemer,
who under the title of
Our Lady of Good Remedy
comes to the aid of all
who call upon thee,
extend thy maternal protection to us.
We depend on thee,
dear Mother,
as helpless and needy children
depend on a tender and caring mother.
Pray the Hail Mary…
O Lady of Good Remedy,
source of unfailing help,
grant that we may draw
from thy treasury of graces
in our time of need.
Touch the hearts of sinners,
that they may seek
reconciliation and forgiveness.
Bring comfort to
the afflicted and the lonely;
help the poor and the hopeless;
aid the sick and the suffering.
May they be healed in body
and strengthened in spirit
to endure their sufferings
with patient resignation
and Christian fortitude.
Pray the Hail Mary…
Dear Lady of Good Remedy,
source of unfailing help,
thy compassionate heart knows a remedy
for every affliction and misery
we encounter in life.
Help me with thy prayers and intercession
to find a remedy for my problems and needs,
especially for…
(My Mother in law, Hillary who was diagnosed with liver cancer, please pray for her healing, please strengthen her and Roy, please open their hearts fully to your precious Son Jesus, I pray for their conversion through this …)
On my part,
O loving Mother,
I pledge myself to a more intensely Christian lifestyle,
to a more careful observance of the laws of God,
to be more conscientious
in fulfilling the obligations of my state in life,
and to strive to be a source of healing
in this broken world of ours.
Dear Lady of Good Remedy,
be ever present to me,
and through thy intercession,
may Hillary and all others enduring this dreadful disesase enjoy health of body and peace of mind,
and grow stronger in the faith
and in the love of thy Son, Jesus.
Pray the Hail Mary…
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of Good Remedy,
R. That we may deepen our dedication to thy Son,
and make the world alive with His Spirit.
Amen

For Your Hillary and Roy
Omnipotent and eternal God,
the everlasting Salvation of those who believe,
hear us on behalf of Thy sick servant,
for whom we beg the aid of Thy pitying mercy,
that, with her bodily health restored,
she may give thanks to Thee in Thy church.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for Healing
Lord, look upon her with your eyes of mercy,
may your healing hands rest upon her,
may your life-giving powers flow into every cell of her body
and into the depths of her soul, cleansing, purifying,
restoring her to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom.
Amen.
To Saint Peregrine
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,”
because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God
for those who have had recourse to you.
For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease
that destroys the very fibre of our being,
and who had recourse to the source of all grace
when the power of man could do no more.
You were favoured with the vision of Jesus
coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction.
Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
Hillary and for the health and strength of Roy.
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession,
we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity,
a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary - full of grace,
The Lord is with thee,
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb - Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now,
And at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Prayer to St. Luke:
Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.
