Dear Lord, please help me with my brother. My brother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 3 years ago at 40. Since then his motor skills have depleted and he has gone through a divorce and has 3 beautiful children. My brother is a corrections officer and continues to work and has his kids 50% of the time. My brothers X wants to take visitations away were they are more at home and part time with dad. This is very hurtful to my brother and causing his Parkinson’s to react. My brother also, just found out that his Fiancé/girlfriend of 7 years no longer wants to marry him… Mentions he doesn’t have the money he use to as well as I am sure since his decline with Parkinson’s she is not willing to take on for better or for worse. I ask for help in guidance and that he gets to see his children and find the strength to let go of the girl who is killing him emotionally. Dear blessed mother pls protect my brother. AMEN!
 
Lord, help von55’s brother come to
terms w/ his Parkinson’s, it is the
same disease that Michael J. Fox
had and can be controlled, help him
have hope of a GOOD quality of life.
Help him discern what you want of
his future, Lord, whatever it is, whether
it is remarriage or being single, that
he may know that “the body is meant
for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.”
1 Cor. 6:13.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Von55’s brother. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Von55’s brother’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular Von55’s brother, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Beloved St. Pio of Pietrelcina, you have had the signs of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ on your body. You have carried this stigmata for everyone, enduring both the physical and mental sufferings that racked your soul and body in a continual sacrifice. We beg you to pray for us, so that we will be able to accept both the little and the larger crosses we too must bear during our life on earth and to offer these sufferings to God, assuring us a place with him in Eternal Life.
