O, Lord, hear our prayers! We call on all the saints and Our Blessed Lady to intercede on Gary’s behalf. Saint Joseph and Saint Jude, please intercede for Gary, that he may find an excellent job and solutions to the problems facing him. Please give him what he needs to make life smoother for him, and please help him find good housing. In Your Name we ask these favors for Gary and his family.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Thank you all very much for your prayers. I’m happy to report I landed a job working in security at a downtown office building (and it doesn’t look like the terrible pandemic will result in a cutback in hours). It’s not exactly the job I wanted, but I trust in God that it’s where I need to be right now and I’m so grateful for employment. I know God will lead me to where He wants me to be, and I am returning to doing some freelance journalism, now that the depression and anxiety have started to lift. I pray for all suffering unemployment or in any other way and for all victimized by the coronavirus pandemic. May God heal and comfort all those who are sick as well as their loved ones. May those who have died rest in the loving arms of Jesus, and may He comfort all who miss mourn and love them. Thanks again, and may God bless you all with his abundant love, grace and mercy. Gary
 
God, our Father, we turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as we look for suitable employment. We need your wisdom to guide our footsteps along the right path, and to lead us to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. We wish to use the gifts and talents you have given us, but we need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. Do not abandon us, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant us this favor we seek so that we may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance. Grant this through Christ, our Lord.

Amen.
