This just in from my sister in law, my husband Eddie’s sister Gloria.

The endoscopy revealed that she had an ulcer in her esophagus and her stomach was inflamed, but no bleeding was found. They said that they could give her medicine for the ulcer in her esophagus. The colonoscopy didn’t show any bleeding either. She ran fever last night up to 103 degrees and was very agitated. It took them several times to find a vein to draw blood, so they could do blood cultures. She is doing a lot of mumbling and will say a few words when prompted. I believe this is due to her mental health condition and all that she has gone through, as we have seen her this way before. I was there this am and fed her breakfast and she ate really well and I helped her brush her teeth and dr. up her very chapped lips. Occupational therapy was there and got her to sit up and move her arms a little. He said she did well. This is good for her circulation instead of just laying in the bed. Her knee is still swollen but they said that could be from arthritis. We do not know the results of the hip x-ray and blood culture yet. She is still on oxygen as well. We did get her to smile a little this am. Please continue to pray. I told her that everyone was praying for her.

Praying for her.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
