Urgent Prayers for Daughter

Please in your charity pray for my daughter, Lesa, she is bi-polar and I think it is worse now. She took too many sleeping pills as she has a problem sleeping and her toilet over flowed, which she called the landlady who came and did not check to make sure that Lesa turned off the water completely. Lesa was very drugged up and went back to bed and it kept over flowing and destroyed some of the downstairs apartment. Her landlady blames her, she also doesn’t have property insurance which is her fault. She doesn’t understand disease that affect the brain and she is going to throw Lesa out after 5 years.

Lesa is psychotic now and won’t go into a hospital. She is also now involved in some fundamentalists websites and believe Christ is coming today or tomorrow or soon and she is afraid of going through the tribulation. She also has become anti Catholic through these websites.

I know that no one really understands the horrendous behavior that persons with these diseases have and how difficult it is to deal with it. Please pray that someway she comes out of this and that her landlady will not throw her out as it is almost impossible to find an apartment that is Section 8 and decent, most of them have drug users and pushers everywhere and they are dangerous places to live.

Prayers for Lesa, that she will seek the Lord in her problems,
and find help in time of need, “O Lord, You are my God…You

refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat.” Is. 25:1,4

I have a son with a disability.
I will pray to my Heavenly Father,
Almighty God I uplift Lesa before You in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord God, you see Lesa’s needs. I pray, Father, if it is your will that she continues to live here, then Father give Elesa exceedingly great favor with her landlord. And with everyone she comes across, that in all things she is well provided for by You.

Father, I also pray if it is not your will she stay but that she moves, then Lord God, go before her. Prepare a path for her feet and bring her to the home you have prepared for her.

Father, I know that your love abounds toward Elsa. Heal her. Take away the fear of the tribulation. Speak to her heart and give her the understanding she needs to be free of fear. Teach her to trust in You.And fill her heart with peace. Lead her into all you have planned and purposed for her life. Teach her and guide her to come to know you and put her trust only in you.

I thank you Father for hearing my prayer. I commend Lesa into your loving hands.

If she is having trouble sleeping, I would like to see her go to the doctor for a medicine check. Upping the dosage you take on your own can have the wrong effect. These meds need to be monitored closely. There is also a risk of becoming dependent. Praying for her physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being, that she will receive the proper care.

Yes, as most bi-polar patients do self medicate to stop the pain on the disease. She takes many meds, even if it was aspirin she would take many. However, I have done everything to control this, but can’t. She is suppose to have a person through the County come in and help her with meds, shopping etc., however, we can’t get in touch with anyone and are told to contact so and so, which is never the correct person. This is how government help for these ill patients actually is. I can’t explain how she is suffering and she does not understand any part she has played in her problems. I believe she has progressed to being schizo effective and honestly don’t know where to go from here. Doctors really seem to have no real knowledge of this disease when a patient is severely ill. The county no longer gives out a list of housing so we can find a place.

I do appreciate all the prayers and know that only our Lord can control the situation.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Lesa. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Lesa’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Lesa in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and

begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Good Saint Dymphna, great wonder-worker in every affliction of mind and body, I humbly implore your powerful intercession with Jesus through Mary, the Health of the Sick, in my present need: I pray for Lesa, that help can be obtained for her and that a support system can be effected to get her the best treatment possible. I pray for her mother, Bernadette, that she need not go through watching her child suffer and not be able to help. By Mary’s sufferings on the cross, I beg you to intercede for them. Saint Dymphna, martyr of purity, patroness of those who suffer with nervous and mental afflictions, beloved child of Jesus and Mary, pray to Them for me and obtain my request.
