Urgent prayers for healing requested

This is the first time I’ve posted a prayer request on CAF.

A friend of mine has a brother-in-law who is in the hospital in Intensive Care. The doctors say that he is dying of a virus of unknown origin. They don’t know what it is or where he picked it up. They don’t know how long he has to live. He is strong and is resisting, but he could die at any time.

The worst thing is that his only daughter (and only child) is scheduled to be married on 23 August.

Please pray for a complete cure. Pray that he will be able to give his daughter away at her wedding.

I have already requested a Mass for this intention. I am praying to Pope John Paull II for his intercession. And I will offer a rosary for him in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament this afternoon.

Please help me obtain this favor from God.

I need prayers for my family.

My family is very small. I am the only child of my aged mum and dad and I have only one son, whose dad died in 2000. I have had problems with the boy since the father died. He is now 23 years old and he has no vision for his future up to now. He has been a rebelled child. I have tried my best to bring him back to his senses. I believe this can only be done through prayers.

I therefore request all you good Christians to intereced in my prayer requests so that this boy can come back to his normal senses and have a future. I know that there is nothing impossible with prayer.

Please my good brothers and sisters join me in prayer for this noble cause, I will also pray for you and your needs.

Jesus please help the medical staff to identify and treat this virus, and help this man to complete recovery.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
Just wanted to update all who responded to my request for prayer; I’m sorry that it has taken me so long to get back on here and do this:

My friend’s brother-in-law died shortly after I posted this and you all responded to my request. I thank everyone who posted, as well as those who did not post but who offered prayers nonetheless.

Please pray that God comfort his family, and especially his daughter who must now celebrate her wedding day without her father.

Again, thank you all very much and pardon me for not updating you sooner.
