Urgent prayers for L who was hospitalized today

My daughter-in-law’s father, L, was admitted to the hospital this morning.
He has not been taking care of himself
and lives alone. He is diabetic. They said he has congestive heart failure, fluid in his lungs and his body is swollen double its size from the chest down.
He is not in the ICU, but, obviously his condition is serious. He is also on oxygen.
My daughter-in-law not happy with the care he has been receiving either.
Prayers requested. Thank you.
 
Prayers for L and his family.
Lord please come to the aid of L, help him recover, and take an active part in his health. Grant the healthcare workers the patience, the time, and the energy to care for him.

I will definitely keep him in my prayers. (specifically, pray divine mercy chaplet)

Dear Lord, please hear our prayers. I lift up especially this man who is sick right now. Lord, I pray for healing for him. Let Your will be done God in all circumstances. Please bless this man and his mind, spirit, body, and soul. I also pray for a blessing for his family that they may trust in You and stay hopeful. I pray for the people who are taking care of Him. God, please guide them so that they can do their job well for Your greater glory. Amen
 
Prayer for the Sick

Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting salvation of those who
believe, we beg You to hear us on behalf of Your sick servant, L.,
who has suffered a serious a decline in his health. We beg You
to give him Your mercy, that, with his bodily health restored, he
may thank You in Your church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
 
I will give an update in 4 or 5 hours.
It is just after 4a.m. here.
I just woke up and began praying for healing and for the swelling to go away.
I pray his organs continue to function.

My daughter-in-law just let me know is heart is only functioning at 10%. His kidneys seem to be okay.
Thank you for your prayers. I do not know what happens now when it comes to further medical treatment.

L was moved to intensive care this morning.

Praying for God’s will.

L was put on a ventilator this morning and strong drugs are keeping his heart going. I am not sure if they put him into a coma induced state.
L lives in a city 2 1/2 hours away. My family will be home tonight so I hope to learn more.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (L). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into L’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Healing God, give strength and courage to ‘L’ as they patiently endures the suffering and pain of her/his illness.
Take from her/his heart all painful anxiety. Help her/him to place her/himself in the arms of your loving providence, trusting in your compassionate, tender love.

Blessed Mary and all the saints, gather round us as we pray for our sister/brother. May we reach out to her/him with compassion and support, bringing her/him comfort. Through your intercession may we all look forward to being united with you in God’s presence.
