Thank you for the positive update on your mom; and I thank Our Lord and Our Lady for this blessing.

Fin, your Mom is doing rehab at home. I am still praying for your Mom and everyone in your family. I know it is hard.

My Mom would be going to the hospital for physical therapy, though I don’t know how often would it be. The therapist said that outpatients usually go to the hospital 3 times a week for the exercises. Tonight a temporary therapist would be going over at home, because we want her to be able to exercise until the outpatient sessions would start, which would still be after the Holy Week. The doctor also gave some exercises which we do at home.

Thank you for the prayers! Your prayers are so very important. My aunt visited the hospital on Wednesday. According to the doctor she consulted with, he was amazed because of the very high b.p. she had during the stroke. He said it wasn’t even in his charts anymore, that normally the brain wouldn’t be able to withstand that range.

Lord we continue to ask You to heal my Mom completely. We pray for the prevention of any future recurrence of stroke. Give her the strength she needs, and for all of us who are caring for her, because You know we truly need it.

Lord God, we continue to ask You to heal my Mom. Her condition is improving as well as her mobility. We give thanks to You Lord for taking good care of her, and for giving all of us the strength we need. We know it hasn’t been easy. We were bogged down with stress, anxiety, irritability. There was no shortage of arguments and angry feelings. But Lord, You know above all that we only want what’s best for Mom, and we’re very happy that she’s back. Help her on this road to recovery, as we look forward to the celebration of the Resurrection. Amen!
