Please pray for my husband who had a major stroke today. They were able to dissolve the clot in his brain, but do not know yet how much damage was done.
I’m alone and have no one to lean here for help. I went through this once before 3 years ago and it so emotionally scarred me I never fully recovered.
Pray for us both, please, I beg of you.

Praying for your husband to recover and heal from the stroke he had today.
Praying for his doctors.
Praying for you to have strength and courage to face your husband’s most recent
medical incident.
Praying for you to find support among the medical staff and for you to get the rest
and care you need for yourself.
 
Praying for your husband, and you to be held tightly and comforted in the arms of our Lord.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.

I pray that God heals your husband and that He prevents this from happening again. Amen.
 
I pray that our Heavenly Father provides healing for your husband, guidance for the medical staff, and encouragement for you…

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Lormar’s Husband). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Lormar’s Husband’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

God reward you for your prayers. I will be leaving for the hospital in a couple of hours. They will be taking the ventilating tube out and then be able to assess what, if any or much, brain damage occurred.
I need strength to get through this. If anyone here has ever had to go through something awful with no visible human support to lean on, they know how hard it is.

May God lay his healing hand upon your husband, and comfort both of you during this difficult time. May he give you strength, his healthcare providers the wisdom and skills to treat him, and all of you patience during this ordeal. May God Bless you and your husband.

I did not know St. Andrew Avellino is the patron saint of stroke victims. Thank you for telling me, and God reward you for your prayers.
 
They took the breathing tube out and he is breathing on his own, but his words are jumbled and he’s not making much sense.
Please pray that the residual effects of this stroke does not impair his lifestyle. He needs to be active. That’s what saved him the last time. Once he went back to helping the person he helps fixing cars, he got much better.

God reward all of you for your prayers. Please keep praying

Update: They have moved him to a neurology floor, but now he is displaying aggressive behavior. They have him in restraints because he keeps trying to escape.

I’m going there with Holy Water and some medals and see what i can do. I think a priest was there yesterday to give him Last Rites, so I don’t understand this sudden change in his behavior.
