Urgent Prayers Needed for a Dying Baby

Please pray for my husband’s cousin’s daughter, Jolien, who doctors say is not expected to make it through the weekend 😦

She is 5 months old and was born with Downs Syndrome and severe heart problems, and has needed many surgeries. The outlook was good - she was expected to need only one more major surgery - but we heard last night that there is now a problem with her lungs, and she is not expected to survive much longer.

Also, please pray for her parents, Audrey and Bart. They are very young and have been through a lot these past five months, and as you can imagine, are devastated at the prospect of losing their beloved daughter. They have an almost two year old little boy as well.

What a beautiful little girl! How sad for these parents, I will pray for them all. May God’s Bless them and look after them always.
 
Lord Jesus, may this burden pass from Audrey and Bart and may they enjoy thier daughter’s company for many years to come. If it be thy will, accept Jolien into your house and your heart, and be merciful to her parents, ease their sorrow and loss. Bring all your children into the light.

Thank you all so much…we just heard from my father in law, Jolien is worsening, and the doctors say what’s happening to her lungs is irreversible now (I’m not sure of the English, I think they are calcifying) and it won’t be long. They are making her as comfortable as they can…FIL says she looks calm and peaceful.

Please continue to pray for them all…it’s so very sad. We recently raised a lot of money to pay for her uncovered surgeries, and her doctors were so hopeful and optimistic. If she does pass, I hope the money raised can go for other babies who need care.

Thank you all so much! You are angels. I haven’t heard anything this morning/through the night; I’m hoping that’s a good sign, and not that FIL didn’t want to wake us. We kept waking up anyway, to pray.
