Urgent Prayers Needed For Amanda! Please!

Dear CAF Family and Friends. Please know that all of your intentions are being prayed for everyday by me. I may not come on here all the time but you are all in my prayers for your needs and desires. I do come to you and ask you to please pray for my friend Amanda who is one of my childhood friends. I grew up with her, her parents, Allen and Susie, and brother Charlie and sister Jennifer. This family is so dear to my heart. You will never ever know just how much I treasure them.

Today is Amanda’s 38th birthday and she is at home with hospice care. She was diagnosed in 2012 with ovarian cancer and it is just eating her alive. This precious beautiful woman has even gotten married recently and the heart ache that her husband and family is going through is tragic. I am coming to you all and asking you to please please please. Pray for her, her husband, parents, brother, sister, aunts, uncles and cousins. Pray for strength for what is coming ahead and peace in their hearts. If it be God’s Will, please pray that she be healed and be able to go on and spend the rest of her life in joy and no more pain. Please pray for her doctors, staff, hospice care workers so that God would give them the knowledge that they need. Please pray for the little Texas town that they are in so that the towns people will surround them in love, prayers and support. St. Anthony, St. Jude, St. Peregrine, please pray for her. Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Beth), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal ( Amanda). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Amanda’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Amanda, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Also praying for you, a wonderful friend, and also she may be pain free as she fights cancer.

Praying hard for Amanda, for her healing, it is God’s will, and for peace and strength for her and her family.
 
A Prayer for Healing Cancer

Heavenly Father, I come before you with a solemn heart and in need of your intercession. I pray that the cancer that has come into my life soon fades into a quick remission.

I believe in your capacity for miracles, and ask for this on my behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. I ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In your name I pray,

That one jumped out at me: Amanda is my own sister’s name. In the spirit of compassion I pray:

Most holy Apostle, Saint Jude Thaddeus, friend of Jesus, I place Amanda in your care at this difficult time. Help her know that she need not face her troubles alone. Please join her in her need, asking God to send her: consolation in her sorrow, courage in her fear, and healing in the midst of her suffering. Ask our loving Lord to fill her with the grace to accept whatever may lie ahead for her and her loved ones, and to strengthen her faith in God’s healing powers. Thank you, Saint Jude Thaddeus, for the promise of hope you hold out to all who believe, and inspire her to give this gift of hope to others as it has been given to her. AMEN
