Pleas pray for my wife’s uncle, Peter. He was struck by an SUV today while riding his bicycle, and suffered massive injuries.

He is in extremely critical condition, as they are having trouble stopping the internal bleeding.

I’m not sure if the intention at this point is for recovery, that he not suffer too much, or for the condition of his soul. Probably a little of each wouldn’t hurt.

Thanks in advance.

Father, in the name of Your dear Son Jesus, please be with Peter to fill his soul with blessing and healing, as the medical staff work to control pain and bleeding. Please help them.
Father please give Christ’s peace to Peter and the family, and comfort and strengthen them. Please help them all to deal with the shock and distress of the accident and Peter’s injuries.
Thank You, Father

Our Father Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Peter seems to be a little better today. Some concsciousness, less bleeding and movement in his legs. Still along way to go, but some good signs.

Thanks very much for your prayers and please keep it up.

God Bless

Lord God, please, if You so will it, descend Your Healing Spirit upon Peter - help him to recover, Lord, and retain his life, if it be Your Holy Will. Most of all, however, Lord, I ask for You to console the members of his family who care for him so deeply, and help them to not be filled with too much anxiety due to the condition of their relative. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray. Amen.
