Please pray for my daughter, Lesa, who is bi-polar. It appears she was manic for months, which is abnormal as she has always been very depressed. She also self medicates. During the mania she met a man on facebook who was not a Christian, however, he decided to become one without Baptism or attending any church, he also led her into conspiracy theories about the last days and horrible events that will happen. He is out of her life now, but she still believes all this and reads websites that are written by some real “nut” cases.

She crashed a month ago and became very depressed and just wanted to sleep all the time. She took at least two different types of medications that caused her to get in her car and was caught sitting asleep at a stop sign. Now she must go to court and I am not well enough to take her shopping, to the doctor etc. if she loses her license. I understand that it was dangerous to others, however, I just don’t have the strength anymore to take care of her and she won’t go into a home where she is taken care of. She has two cats and they are like her only solace.

If anyone here has dealt with someone who is bi-polar and feels that they are not capable of getting better, this is what I feel as it is a disease just like others and some can not be cured etc. She also has wanted to die since she was a teen and wonders why God hasn’t taken her. Her psychiatrist I feel has given up on her and who knows when he will desert her. Psychiatrists apparently feel that if a patient doesn’t get better that it is because they don’t want to. I know Lesa would love to be normal, she just doesn’t have the ability to do what he wants her to do.

Please pray for her and if anyone has dealt with this type of disease and understands what I am trying to convey, please feel free to PM me with any suggestions or help. Sorry about the rambling as I can’t really relate what this disease can do to a person and their loved ones on a thread.

God Bless

Bernadette

PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

Hi Bernadette,

Prayers said for your daughter and your family.

May God bless all of you during this difficult time.

Prayer for Those Suffering With Bipolar Disorder

O God, we humbly beseech You through Your servant, St Dymphna, who sealed with her blood the love she bore You, to grant relief to those who suffer from Bipolar Affective Disorder, especially Leesa.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.

St Dymphna, pray for us.

Praying hard for your daughter, you and your family! Praying to St Dymphna as well. I have suffered with OCD, severe anxiety and severe depression for about 6 years now and it destroyed me and my loved ones. I may not have bi polar but I do understand and know to a certain extent what you are going through because I saw how my mother was affected so my heart goes out to you… Stay strong.

God bless you, your daughter and loved ones

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Lesa). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Lesa’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

:highprayer:

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled
to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought
thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother;
to thee do I come, before thee do I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise
not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear
and answer me.
Amen

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed
art thou amongst women, and Blessed is the Fruit of
thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for
us sinners, now and at the hour of our deaths.
Amen

Pray for us O Holy Mother of God, that we may
be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against

humbly pray, and do thou O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the
Power of God, cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl
throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on her.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for her.
St. Joseph our protector, pray for her.
