Please Please Please Pray that i will stop falling into traps that lead into endless questions about my faith, its killing me, please help. I cant work, I cant read, I cant think, Please pray for me you guys, I keep falling into holes of my wonder for every question of my faith to be answered, some cant be answered, I think the devil is trying to mess around with me and i just need to know to just say no and turn around, Thank you

Hi again Ilovejesus,

I have had times in my life where I struggled with my faith. During those times I went to talk to someone in the church. I went for spiritual direction.

The first time that I went for spiritual direction, I saw a nun. The next time that I went was a few years later, and I went and saw my pastor for spiritual direction. Both times, it really helped me to talk to someone. Spiritual direction helps us with our relationship with God in our life.

These days, I just try and stay really close to Jesus, Our Blessed Mother, the angels and saints. I pray all of the time. I use different prayers. I pray from the heart, I use the Church’s prayers, like the Our Father, Hail Mary, etc. I pray from prayer books and prayer cards, etc.
 
Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.

Spiritual direction is going for a type of spiritual guidance or counseling as it relates to our relationship with how God works in our life.

troubles and sorrows,

Almighty Lord,
before you I come with all my faith,
begging you for comfort in my difficulties.

as you design to give that tranquility that I so desire.

Receive my supplication from a wounded heart
that is always fighting for me
with your Divine power.
Never let me scramble for want of help.

assist me to find shelter in your celestial bounty forever.

In my lifetime I have talked to many priests. They have heard all kinds of material and spiritual problems and will be compassionate to you. Talking with a holy person can bring much relief to your suffering. Priests are trained to be of help…also holy people, brothers and sisters.

And, cry out to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary!

May our Lord Jesus Christ and His holy Mother be with you!
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Suggest that you try to look outside yourself - to focus your concerns towards other people and their needs, anxieties etc. It is so easy to get bogged down in our own problems, both real and imagined. Trust in the love of Our Blessed Lord and when you get an opportunity, reach out in love to others - Doing so will help you feel better about everything.

Hello ILoveJesus,

I have seen a couple of your other posts, and wanted to let you know that I am going through the same thing you are. Actually, I have been going through something on and off for 10 years.

One thing I do know is that God knows what we are going through, and He has not abandoned us. He does not expect us to have a clear understanding of everything. He only asks us to trust Him, even when we are walking in the dark.

So when things get confusing and you wish you had answers, by all means seek out the answers, but ask God to make you content with your present state as well; you are no further from God just because you seek answers and understanding. You show your love for God by your persistence, and by your sorrow for not knowing what you think you should know.

Let God decide when to illuminate your mind, and rest assured that He is closest in our darkest moments.

May the Peace of Christ be with You!
