Why is that US is demanding for the Philippines to pass the RH Bill as enunciated by US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton when she was in the Philippines last year?

Is US giv through US Ambassador Harry Thomas Jr sincere when he said that they would honor their commitments with the Philippines? That statement was made on China’s lastest move on the Spratly Islands. China intrude over Philippine teretory. Is the US sincere or there are strings attached?

Cho, it seems that often our foreign aid does have strings attached. Sometimes it is to break down trade barriers to get US products in, as when Haiti’s domestic rice production was crushed by US imported rice. Their farmers never recovered from that, and it was brought about by offering aid with this string attached. Now their farmers have cheap rice and no economy–and this was before the hurricanes that destroyed so much of their country.

Another string is population control–usually by getting Planned Parenthood into the country in question. Planned Parenthood then goes to work distributing condoms and birth control pills and performing abortions–three evils the Catholic Church firmly opposes.

Beware of American Trojan Horses. It may look like a gift but could be harboring evil inside.

Thanks for your thought, mulayeuxbleu.

Any comments from American Catholics?
